New production of Heartefact Fund called “Intimacy”, premiered on 71st edition of Dubornik Summer Festival. “Inimacy”, written by Biljana Srbljanović and directed by Andrej Nosov was staged at Lazareti.
Actors Leon Lučev i Jelena Graovac performed a paly that adress one of the most pressing issues of our society – new and unknow virus. “Intimacy” was debeloped with the idea to focuse and exlopre are realitions to the “Other” in these new circumstances. Play tries to question are life with others, do we and on what terms care for the other in these special conditions created by periods of (self)isolation. Leon Lučev i Jelena Graovac, through many short stories about distance, discipline, privacy and new relations that created, are trying to show what is intimacy today.

“New, unknown and terrifaying virus, although expected found the wolrd totally unprepared. Quarantine, isolation, infection and dying is nothing new in the history of drama literature, but in a modern world which is incapable of solitude, became almost equally difficult to be sick or infected. Two actors, through a series of short stories are creating a picture of the world we are witnessing and creating the paradigm of social relations, without even being aware of it . ”
Alongside Heartefact, which is a lead partner of the Creative Europe supported project “Future Epics”, partners involved in the implementation are Dubronvnik Summer Festival, TASCA and Vitylike PAC.
